I've been talking to for a couple days now and was thinking about maybe getting a dSLR camera for taking around town with me.

A little known fact is that I had about 3yrs of photography classes in high school and always enjoyed the medium. Back then, however, I had to use an old black and white pentax and develop my own film and photos myself. God, I wish I had one of those old pentax cameras, but I doubt you can even find them anymore, and then there's the whole expensive/cancer-causing developer liquids and photo exposure equipment to get a hold of.

Anyway, I was talking to Dan, and he recommended the following camera: Canon EOS 400d/ Digital Rebel XTi

Nice camera…kinda pricey tho. Anyone have leads into wholesale prices? Anyway, I'll think about it some more. It just would be nice to have it handy
