Acted as innovation product manager and lead product designer for these features.

  • AI Chatbot was designed to be integrated with RCS, a next-generation chat protocol to replace MMS. It consisted of integration and training of multiple chatbots from third party brands as well as customer service chatbot from Verizon.

  • Reminders was a new feature that allowed customers to set a reminder based on a text message that was either sent or received. It consisted of machine learning algorithm to detect certain keywords that allowed a customer to tap once and create the reminder, or they could long-press and bring up the option in the context menu.

 
 

AI Chatbots

Responsible for the design and implementation of AI chatbots for Verizon messages. This project required us to design a new section for our customers to access third-party and Verizon’s customer service chatbot, which we designed, trained, and launched to over 20m users.

Reminders

Responsible for the design of UX flows, requirements, and user stories and implementation. I received a patent pending for this innovation feature that allows users to set reminders for themselves or others based on a text message. The reminder would be auto-populated and the user can then set it as a one-time or recurring reminder.
